Gayatri Meditation

Various opinions surfaced about the Gayatri mantram meditation, and thousands of meaning contained in meditation. As worshipers of God, and the main important thing in our hearts, we believe that the universe was created by God. Only one God, not the other, and our confidence is different of course be seen from our respective religions, point us to worship one God but we call Him different. These spells when spoken wherever and whenever the Gayatri as the mother of the universe will be present and give grace to the devotees who are sincere and confident with the majesty of this mantram.

Preparation before doing meditation Gayatri Mantram

As the Hindus of Bali, we are familiar with the term melukat / mebersih. It is intended to cleanse our bodies of bad karma from past lives and karma we made during our present life. The cleaning is done periodically since we can not be separated from life karma, so must be eliminated both its scale and the noetic. With a clean body of course we will be more determined to get closer to God. Melukat should be done in sanggah kemulan, please guidance on our ancestors to be the best way for us. People of Bali melukat lot done in a few temples like Pura Tirta Empul, Pura Beji Pingit Sebatu Dalem, Pura Tirta Arum etc.. If you're ready to do a prayer / meditation, then establish the attitude of the heart do Padmasana or asanas that can be done. Meditation can be done anywhere, the important comfortable and clean, and better done the holy place / special sacred room. Perform puja trisandya before performing Gayatri japa.

Gayatri Japa

In doing japa, relaxed and upright seating position, do not strain, surrender yourself completely to God. While doing japa, our thoughts focus on the meaning of the Gayatri mantram. Intend to worship the liver to remove all the sins that surrounds us, and may God guide us in our need to get closer to the Almighty. Do based how many times do we have to say recite, do so according to ability, and our sincerity. Our success in this meditation we can not measure the amount of spoken spells. All depends on the grace of the Almighty. When it is finished we should recite the prayer for the peace of the universe.
